Nasir Ahmad Earns PE!

Join us in congratulating Nasir Ahmad on earning his Professional Engineer (PE) license! This is a significant professional milestone and a testament to his dedication to the AEC industry.

Nasir is MJ’s BIM manager and leads the development and coordination of our Building Information Models, bringing together 3D visuals, survey data, GIS, and technical drawings into one seamless platform. His work helps teams collaborate better, improve accuracy, and make projects more constructible from the start. Since joining MJ’s survey/GIS group in 2016, Nasir has been a reliable, highly skilled team member with a strong commitment to quality. His experience includes work on projects for the US Navy, SUNY campuses across New York State, and high-profile facilities such as the Empire State Building and Belmont Racetrack. He has also supported accessibility upgrades for subway stations throughout New York City, infrastructure and resiliency surveys for NYC DDC, and numerous buildings within the historic West Point Military Academy.

Nasir’s achievement shows his dedication to growing professionally. He earned his BS in Civil and Construction Engineering from Kabul Polytechnic University (Afghanistan), his MS in Civil Engineering and Construction from Heriot-Watt University (United Kingdom), and a CAD Certificate from Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY, highlighting his commitment to continuing his education and strengthening his technical skills.
