Join us in congratulating Dave Vaga as MJ’s newest PLS! Dave has been a
key member of MJ’s Survey Department since 2012. He currently serves as a
survey party chief. With an AAS in Land Surveying Technology from SUNY ESF Ranger School and an AAS in Mechanical Technology from Onondaga Community College, Dave brings both technical knowledge and field expertise to every project.
Dave’s surveying experience includes ALTA/ACSM, final as-builts,
construction layout, topography, and boundary surveys. Dave has been a
valuable mentor to MJ’s next generation of surveyors and plays a key role in
training our survey team on safety protocols and emerging technologies.
Over the past year, he has led construction stakeout efforts for the $614M
Albany Nanotech Center expansion and provided survey and right-of-way
services for numerous NYSDOT bridge and culvert rehabilitation projects
across New York State.
“Dave has been an integral part of our survey team for over a decade, consistently demonstrating dedication, skill, and a strong work ethic,” said Joseph Malinowski, PLS, Director of Survey Services. “We’re proud to recognize his contributions and excited to see his continued growth and success at MJ.”
Congratulations, Dave, on this well-earned professional milestone.
