Shenendehowa School District Campus Wide Signage Inventory

Signage had a significant impact on the Shenendehowa campus landscape and the ability of visitors, students and faculty to successfully navigate the facility. In an effort to establish a unified signage and wayfinding program, MJ was responsible for the development of a Campus-Wide Wayfinding Plan to enhance the campus experience.

As part of the project, MJ developed a signage inventory database which included wayfinding, traffic and campus buildings signage. The information was used to analyze and understand safety, circulation and ease of use for pedestrian, bicycle and vehicular traffic throughout the campus. The data was used to help create the Campus-Wide Wayfinding Plan. The database is also being used by maintenance staff and other school personnel.
