Millet Solar Project
Whitehall, New York
The project included the construction of two ground mounted solar photovoltaic energy generating facilities: a 14-acre, 2,525.435 kW facility to the east, and a 12-acre, 2,804.660 kW facility to the west. MJ conducted stormwater inspections to identify measures for control of stormwater runoff and minimize impacts resulting from onsite construction activities on this 30-acre site. The solar modules are supported on racks that required very little earth disturbance to install. The project's goal was to control the pollution of stormwater runoff during construction and included structural and non-structural Best Management Practices (BMPs) that were employed throughout various project phases.
