Electric City Luxury Apartments

MJ provided civil engineering and landscape architecture for the design of a new, mixed-use building located on the corner of State Street and Erie Boulevard. The $20 million project includes 104 luxury apartments and 9,900-square-feet of ground floor retail space in downtown Schenectady. The luxury apartment community features studio, one bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments with a rooftop common area overlooking the city.

MJ’s design maximizes the use of outdoor and social spaces. The facility features a courtyard with picnic and lounge areas, a bocce court, fire pit, community BBQ area, pet area, sundeck, and extensive landscaping. Parking was also considered with covered and reserved parking for residents.
