Angle Lane Water Tank Rehabilitation

This project involved complete rehabilitation of a 400,000-gallon water tank located in the Town of Halfmoon.

MJ designed the complete removal and replacement of the interior paint coating of the steel hydropillar-style tank. The design included localized spot repairs of both the interior and exterior tank walls, and exterior tank wall sealant.

MJ’s design called for the installation of an active mixing system to reduce damage from ice formation and provide additional aeration within the stored water. The cathodic protection was replaced prior to returning the tank to service.
