@Hudson Park Apartment Complex
Albany, New York
MJ provided civil engineering services for the adaptive re-use of this historic 1800’s structure into apartments in the City of Albany. The project presented an interesting challenge for the design team because the façade of the historic brewery needed to be retained for historic preservation.
The $12 million conversion of 160 Myrtle Avenue, called @Hudson Park, includes 75 apartments in a complex of historic buildings. MJ provided site design, water, sewer and stormwater design, landscape architecture, parking design and assistance with the municipal approvals to turn these older buildings into vibrant new residences.
