Matt Tarini Earns PE!

Matt has been a design engineer in MJ's structural group for the past five years and has become a valued member of the team through his technical expertise, dedication, and commitment to professional growth. He has experience in all phases of structural engineering for buildings and industrial facilities. His background includes structural design, condition assessments, inspections, and the preparation of repair and rehabilitation recommendations.

Matt completed the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Blast Resistant Structural Design Training Course, an advanced program focused on the specialized design and analysis of structures exposed to explosive loads. Demonstrating MJ's culture of continuous learning, Matt shared key takeaways and real-world applications with colleagues through an internal training session, helping to strengthen our firm's expertise in protective design, structural resilience, and high-performance facility engineering.

Beyond his project work, Matt has been a tremendous asset in strengthening MJ's relationship with Western New England University. As a WNE alumnus, he has actively represented MJ at networking events, career fairs, and student engagement initiatives, helping connect future engineers with opportunities at the firm.
