MJ is accepting applications for a Building Structural Engineer to join our great employees in our Building Systems Department located at our Corporate Headquarters in Clifton Park, NY in 2026.
Duties:
· Work within a project team to support structural projects from initial project programming up to and through construction.
· Analysis and design of building structures, including reinforced concrete, pre-stressed concrete, concrete masonry, wood, and steel.
· Communicate effectively and coordinate with project team members, including sub-consultants and other disciplines.
Qualifications:
· Possess a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET- accredited college with 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
· Registration as an Intern Engineer in NY is preferred.
· Understanding of NYS building codes and regulations.
· Technical knowledge in the use of AutoCAD.
· Technical knowledge in BIM.
· Ability to work within multiple design teams and execute to meet demanding schedules.
· Have excellent technical writing and communication skills.
· Must be a U.S. Citizen or be eligible to work without an employer sponsorship.
