In recent years, MJ Engineering, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Land Surveying, P.C. MJ is accepting applications for a Site/Civil Engineer to join our great employees in our Engineering Department located at our Corporate Headquarters in Clifton Park, NY in 2026.

Engineering Responsibilities will include:

· Working within multiple design teams to support transportation projects from initial project programming up to and through construction.

· Prepare project plans including but not limited to general plans, typical sections, grading / erosion control plans, drainage / utility plans, profiles, signing / striping plans to support project approvals and construction.

· Support in the preparation the technical reports including design reports, drainage reports, bid documents and cost estimating.

· Complete field work including testing, inventory, and inspections.

· Participate in the construction administration support including shop drawing reviews, reviewing / responding to RFIs, completing periodic site inspections. 

Qualifications:

· 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in civil engineering and consulting with focus in land development.

· B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET- accredited college.

· Registration as an Intern Engineer (I.E.) in NY is preferred

· Understanding of NYSDOT regulations.

· Proficient in the use of MicroStation/AutoCAD as a design tool for the preparation of plans / drawings.

· Ability to work within multiple design teams and execute to meet demanding schedules.

· Must be a U.S. Citizen or be eligible to work without an employer sponsorship

Salary Range 65,000 – 72,000
