MJ is accepting applications for a Bridge Design Engineer to join our great employees in our Transportation/Structures Department located at our Corporate Headquarters in Clifton Park, NY in 2026.
The Bridge Engineering Responsibilities will include:
· Designing of steel and concrete bridges
· Development of construction plans and documents
· Developing Engineer’s Estimates
· Load Analysis of ordinary and complex bridge elements
· Experience in bridge inspection
· Knowledge of NYSDOT and NYS Thruway Authority Standards and processes
Qualifications:
· Minimum 0 to 4 years of relevant experience in bridge design/analysis.
· Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
· Registration as an Intern Engineer (I.E.) is preferred.
· Proficient in the use of Bentley MicroStation and Microsoft Office.
Preferred experience in STAAD, MERLIN DASH and MathCAD.
· Ability to work within multiple design teams and meet demanding schedules.
· Have excellent technical writing and communication skills
· Must be a U.S. Citizen or be eligible to work without an employer sponsorship
