We have an immediate opening for a full-time project architect in our growing building systems group located at our Clifton Park, NY office. This position offers a unique opportunity for growth and advancement in MJ’s municipal and federal markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work within a project team to support architectural projects from initial project programming up to and through construction
Develop program studies/reports and feasibility studies
Develop architectural assessment reports for existing building structures
Communicate effectively and coordinate with project team members, including sub-consultants and other disciplines
Lead architect on multi-discipline projects
Code review for new and existing buildings
QUALIFICATIONS:
Possess a bachelor’s degree in architecture with 4 to 10 years of relevant experience
Registered Architect is a plus
Understanding of NYS building codes and regulations
Technical knowledge in the use of AutoCAD and Revit
Ability to work within multiple design teams and execute to meet demanding schedules
Have excellent technical writing and communication skills
Must be a U.S. Citizen or be eligible to work without an employer sponsorship

Salary Range: $85,000 - $115,000
